This place a great addition to the many bars in Blackheath.
From the outside, it´s difficult to imagine the huge space that has been created inside... different zones for eating and drinking, including an upstairs mezzanine, and a backdrop of the huge steel containers of beer that is brewed there.
Food is totally reliable with reasonable prices. The menu offers pizzas and mussels, cooked to perfection and sure to satisfy an appetite. The cooking team are in full view, and you can see the pizzas being cooked in a stone-baked oven. Mussels come in a 1kg steel pot, with a delicious choice of added flavours. I have tasted them all, and still can´t decide on my favourite!
Dress Code: Whilst first impressions may give an air of class, dress is fairly casual and comfortable. However, later in the day time/evening you may occasionally be turned away for wearing sports shoes. Which is my one and only criticism of the place.

The Crown is an old fashioned pub with a great outdoor area to the north of the village...very friendly and great food at lunchtime. Its not a dressy place...unlike some of the other pubs in the village!

Better known as the 'Princess of Wales' this is located close to the 'boating pool' and is really popular during the summer. Gets a mainly young crowd...which either drinks inside...or spills out onto the heath.

Over the past couple of years this place has been totally modernised. Lots of leather sofa's to relax on...a great bar menu...and a good range of beers. Busy at the weekends...but nice during the week.
