  • Queens View

Queens View is one of the most famous views in Scotland, looking out across Loch Tummel from the north. It's very easy to get to from Blair Atholl where we were staying. It's also just off the main A9 road, so if you're staying elsewhere you should have no problem finding it. It's around 6 miles along a winding road, so I'd recommend going by car...

You can go downstairs and see the mill at work while you wait for your order. There is a large selection of oatmeal, wholemeal and flour for sale that has been grounded on the premises.

  • COSY RESTAURANT

We popped in here for a light lunch and each of us chose a different soup, served with fresh rolls, all of which tasted delicious, but the food was not the only reason we enjoyed this place. On your left as you entered the restaurant area was an interesting display of a scene from the past. In the restaurant itself were two log fires to keep us...

  • Castle's Restaurant

There is a restaurant inside the castle so if you are on your way to somewhere far (like we came from Edinburgh and drove to Inverness) it is a good idea that you will sit here and eat.The food here is not fancy - just ordinary food.

The best option is to come to the castle with a car , park it in the parking lot and continue with your trip after.
There is a big parking lot here and the road from Edinburgh wasnt a problem , easy and convenient.

There are a lot of animals in this area and they are free.
    Sounds great isn't it ?
The problem is with the peacocks - they are HUGE and sometimes crazy.
try not to play with them or you will get poked by one of them.
