Two Tubs Inn: A Great Historical Inn
The Two Tubs Inn is a great little pub situated right next to the Parish Church in the heart of Bury Town Centre. The name of the pub is officially 'The Globe Inn' although it was given the nickname of the Two Tubs wen in 1830, Mr Shaw the landlord responded to competition from the new sign at Old White Bear and sawed a barrel in half to make a globe, the hoops and staves representing the latitude and longitude lines. The Two tubs nickname has remained to this day.
The Two Tubs Inn is a lovely comfortable pub. We just popped in for a drink but I believe they serve good food here too.

Sol Viva: Livin la Vie de loca!!
Well I first got into this classy establishment when I was 15 years old.
I think that says alot about the place to be honest.
Seriously though - if you've had a skinful and want a dance you can't beat a bit of Viva. The drinks are expensive, so it's less painful if your already drunk and generous! The tunes are cool and there are three different rooms, one for the under 5's, one for over 60's and one for RnB (chavs).
It's great! Highly reccommended!
