The stone built 3-arch bridge has unusual holes , perhaps to prevent the river in flood from destroying the bridge. Whatever the reason it is very attractive.
It was built about 1785-87 and is the oldest structure in the village.
A few yards upstream are the famous Cenarth salmon leap where there are a series of small waterfalls.

The mill lies on the River Tiefi at Cenarth. It can be reached from the Antique shop.
A good view of the mill wheel can be seen from the other side of the river by the water falls. The Mill was built in the 18th century.
Unfortunately we were unable to go inside.

Just beyond the bridge at Cenarth, there are a series of small waterfalls that the salmon have to leap in order to reach their breeding grounds further upstream. It is a great tourist attraction . Summer is the best time to see this.
Parking is available beside the falls. Stalls with jewellery, books and other trivia are on sale.
