Chessington Things to Do

Here is a list of all the shows and times that are currently on at Chessington

SEALION SHOWS***** 12 noon and 3pm.
PENGUIN SHOW***** 11.30am and 2.30pm.
BIRD SHOWS***** 2.pm and 4pm.
TRAIL OF KINGS***** Anytime.
BEANOLAND SHOWS***** Every hour.
MARKET SQUARE SHOW***** Not sure

This is the last thing i expected to see at Chessington, an american cop car driving through the theme park. Its to premote there live show which takes place in market square throughout peek times

This is the Safari skyway, its a monorail which runs at a leasurely pace through the themepark passing over the zoo so you get a wonderful view of all the wild animals that Chessington has to offer. Great for a welcome 10 min sit down

Unfortunately the photo to this ride never developed because some silly sod never had the flash on because it was dark (ME). Anyway the ride is called TOMB BLASTER and its an interactive laser adverture where you ride around this dark passageways and shoot everything in sight that turns from red to green, your score is is added up at the end of the ride. Great fun, and i even shot the wife a few times as well hahahahaha

This is perhaps my favorite ride at Chessington world of adventures, and its located in the area called the forbidden kingdom, the ride is called RAMESES REVENGE, This massive ride can take75 people at a time so the cue is never very long, it goes forwards and backwards and then spins you in to a fountain of cold water so be prepared to get very, very wet. There is only one more ride at Pirates Cove and im afraid i have no photo of this but it is called the Seastorm, and its ment to recreate a boat in rough seas, i did not like this ride coz it really made me feel sick, so if you have a week stomach give this one a wide berth hahahahahahaha

Again there is a height restriction on this ride and its 0.9m

This is Pirates cove and only a couple of rides are in this area, one of them is called the Black Buccaneer. Its a massive boat which rids about 40 people at a time and it swings higher, and higher untill it feels like you are about to turn upside down, a bit like my gutts did hahahahaha

There is a min height ristriction of 0.9m on this ride

The last area of animal land is called Birds in Flight, and is all about birds of prey, they have a bird of prey display and shows these wonderful birds in flight, unfortunately we missed this show so i have no photo to show you

There is a great section in animal land called CREEPY CAVES, this is a reptile and insect house. I don't like anything like this but i am informed (by my kids) that its really good inside and that they have all the creepy crawlies you can think off. Call me a chicken if you like but theres no damn way i would go in hahahahahahaha cluck, cluck, cluck

This area of animal land is set aside for exotic birds such as these pink flamingo's and they also have a new walk through aviary where you can wander about looking at all the fantastic birds of the world
