I reached Chippenham from London; (Albeit the 'security alert'...) There would be many trains to Chippenham from London Paddington Station as most trains would be going to Wales & eastern England...

London Paddington Station serves trains to :
South Wales;
Western & South-western England;
Southern Midlands;
Heathrow Airport.
On the second day in England, I started my journey venturing out from the capital; First destination was Chippenham !

Here, I present my bus ticket to Lacock !
From Chippenham Bus Station, I had to wait for about 1 hour because there's not many buses after noon going to Lacock Village...
I took the 3.10 pm bus...
At the Chippenham Bus Station, go to Bay 7 & BUS NO. 234...
The journey is only about 5 to 6 miles but I had to pay for 2 pounds, expensive isn't it ?

This is my train ticket...which Patrick booked for me in order to secure a seat & which should be a pleasant journey for me to Chippenham.
Little that I knew of the 'security alert'...which caused me to reach Chippenham 3 hours late !
I had to cancell my 'off the beaten' excursions to Malmesbury & Castle Combe because of this...(sad).
Otherwise, this page would be filled with many more beautiful photos...
