The Bistro in Monton is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in the area.
Having lived in the area for a few years, Eccles isn't spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants; but The Bistro makes up for any of this.
This family run establishment has an eclectic menu with starters such as Bury Black Pudding in a Mustard Sauce, to Greek Spring Rolls with Tatziki.
Mains range from traditional to Japanese, and there is sometimes a singer by the bar.
High Life diners club members enjoy half price dining, but even without the card, the restaurant is well worth a visit, and reasonably priced.
