    Whipsnade Zoo

Whipsnade Zoo is about 4 miles from Dunstable. The park opened to the public in 1931.
It is one of Europe's largest wildlife conservation parks and is set in 600 acres of land. There are more than 2,500 animals to visit, many of them, endangered species. You can tour the park on foot, by the free safari tour bus or on the Whipsnade railway.
Whipsnade is open every day except Christmas Day usually from 10am-6pm. Entry is 13.50 GBP for adults, 10.10 GBP for children and concessions are 11.50 GBP. The zoo is large so I would recommend a full day here.
