A really royal castle, with state apartments, art, culture, chapel, a great park, pleasant views and even changing guards..
The station in Windsor is also very nice. There are some small shops and a couple of cafés where u can sit and have something to eat or drink.
If you getting to Windsor without any plans or planned itinerary, best way to get a city map which can be obtain as soon as you get down from the Windsor station.
Its one of the best theme parks in the UK, can be a bit pricey if you bring a large family but once youve paid youve paid for all rides all day.
On a sunny day it is most enjoyable to sit at one of the cafes beside the River Thames. There are boats to watch as well as swans and ducks. Some of the houses too are interesting, as is the bridge.

Besides visiting the famous castle or Eton College i recommend you to visit Windsor town. A lot of beautiful Streets and small colorful alleys. some unique old houses and some nice pubs !
