All Saints Church
Located in Little Kimble, Buckinghamshire, is the little and very old church, All Saints. Nothing extraordinary from the outside but step inside and you'll be transported back in time, to the 13th century, by the wall paintings. There is a painting of Saint George and behind him is his wife...knitting!There is a frieze at the rear of the church which shows punishment - ladies having their hair pulled...Unfortunately at some point in history some clever people painted over these amazing wall paintings... with magnolia! Thankfully it is flaking off and the paintings appear to be undamaged and waiting in anticipation for rediscovery. There are also some original floor tiles.
