Tatties, Cambridge

Doing a quick bit of research just to check phone no's etc I found a review elsewhere where some guy slates this place because the lasagne was microwaved!!!

HA! I'm terribly sorry but if you go to a cafe for lunch and it's called "Tatties" and there is this wierd aroma of freshly baking potatoes all-pervading and a huge menu of fillings for them and everyone else in the place is eating with gusto then why are you ordering a lasagne (tho' I should note that why are they offering a lasagne???)

Favorite Dish: "Tatties" do tatties and the best anywhere I've ever eaten. Nothing clever just freshly cooked baked potatoes with a humungous variety of fillings which you can mix and match at will and not too expensive either for a seriously substantial lunch.

For simplicity just have the cheese and beans with a sprinkle of crispy bacon, and maybe some onions as well - about a fiver and delish!!!

The Regent Street original is still the best in town in my book, but then that's just me being an old fuddy-duddy!

"Tatties" is great place to relax after hard day shopping.
They serve great choice of sendwiches,soups,coffies and teas,lots of treats for serious chocolate addicts.But the best part is their choices of hot and cold fillings for the delicous baked potatoes.

Favorite Dish: Baked potato with chicken tikka ,cheese and hot garlic mashrooms, stawberry smootie and slice of homemade carrot cake.
