    Candle ferris wheel

Favorite thing: Look out tor the unique candle dipping Ferris wheel, built by a local craftman and standing over 30 feet high. Its probably the only one of its kiind in the country, may be the world!
Unfortunately it was not in use the day we visited but there are plenty of photographs on the wall about it.

    spoilt for choice

Favorite thing: Of course you can buy candles ready made - the choice is endless and you can spend ages browsing in their shop deciding which candle to buy for those special friends ;-)
Above the shop there are also activities for children wo like to paint models or holders for the candles they have just made.

    Creating Candles

by sandysmith Written Feb 8, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    candle making

Favorite thing: For a small charge you can dip and create your own candles, guided by the artisans. This appears to be very popular with children.
The candles are dipped several times in the wax to build them up and cooled in water inbetween each wax dipping.
