    Down by the riverside

Favorite thing: It is great to take a walk along the river. Unlike York, Chester's riverside is full of pubs with beer gardens with riverviews and there is always something happening here summertime. You are also close to the remains of the roman amphitheatre and yes, there are sightseeing boat trips.

    Riverside Stroll

Favorite thing: The river is a lovely area in chester and can be bustling with activity on a summer's day. Pavement artists display their artwork for sale, boats take trippers up the river or you can simply stroll along with friends or enjoy a rest in a cafe.

Favorite thing: There is plenty going on down by the river...just look at all the people here. Plenty of places to sit down as well.
