Crossing the cattle grid!

This is a brilliant people and children friendly farm! Children and adults alike are encouraged to walk around the farm, see the animals up-close and to touch most of them.
The farm shop sells feed for the chickens and the ducks.
In the barn lives a donkey called Blaze. There are also goats and pigs in there too. The best time of year to go is in the spring. There are chicks, calfs and lambsall enjoying the space they have to play in. And if you are lucky enough to arrive when it's lambing season, you get to see lambs being born!
There are nature trails to walk around, hills to climb, cattle grids to clamber across, styals to get over and woods to explore.
The owners also have lots of eqipment around, old and new, as it is a working farm. You can sit on an old tractor and look at the equipment they used to use before some machinery was invented.

Blaze Farm has a cafe. They serve very nice meals and snacks. Just outside the cafe is a homemade slide that attracts the children (and the big children!). You are able to sit outside or inside and there is a car park.

The farm shop also sells meat (lamb & beef), homemade cakes and best of all, homemade ice cream! I am an ice cream-a-holic, and it's some of the best I've tasted. The product name is Hilly Billy.

Get yourself to Blaze Farm to have fun, learn, walk, have an ice cream and be up-close & personal with the animals!!

Blaze Farm is open from 10am to 5.30pm Tuesday - Sunday.
Blaze Farm is closed Mondays (including Bank Holidays), Christmas day, Boxing day & New Years day
