OK so Warrington isn't the shopping capital of the world (that HAS to be NYC!!!) but it has now been refurbished and even has a Zara so things are looking up!
But it is convenient....many high street stores under one roof with places to eat, toilet facilities and plenty of parking including disabled and parent and child (people don't abuse!)
Handy place to nip in if you live locally but wouldn't bother making a special journey from outside the area!
What to buy: well there seems to be plenty of pie shoes and sports shops!
Warrington is the Second largest town in England so we have all usual shops in town centre. The centre is self contained is all in a small area. There are also the smaller local high streets so it is not always necessary to travel into town. Then there are the usual out of town shopping centres and supermarkets and retail parks.
One of the lager retail parks is at Callands with Ikea, M&S, Toys 'R' Us, etc.
If you fancy something away from Warrington and you are not sick of the shops yet then the Trafford centre is only 15-20 minutes away by car or you can get a bus from Warrington.
There is also the option of a short and frequent train service to Manchester, Liverpool and Chester.
