Nowhere in Mevagissey can really be classed as 'Off the beaten path'. But do walk out to the Lighthouse (more of a light beacon really), on the Southern breakwater, and look at the waves along the Cornish Coastline. Since my last visit to Mevagissey there has been some rebuilding here, and it is now possible to access the outer part of the breakwater. Lots of rod fishermen here too.
Don't venture too close to the edge; it looks quite dangerous if you should fall!
