Be aware the harbour wall at Mevagissey can be very high at Low tide,so if you suffer from vertigo don't look over the side,oh and there are no rails on the South Side.
DO NOT feed the seagulls as they can be very aggressive.
Although seen as a major part of the holiday scene, Seagulls are becoming very menacing in many holiday locations, swooping down on people, and snatching food from their hands, etc. We were strolling along the quayside with wonderful fish and chips, and the seagulls were very menacing. One swooped down on Mary's head, much to the 'delight' of an elderly couple, who thought it was funny! Mary didn't think so, and told the elderly woman what she thought of her, LOL! These holidaymakers encourage these birds by feeding them, although 'everyone' knows you should NOT do it! We walked farther along the quay, out to the breakwater, and sat there, eating our fish and chips, and left the seagulls with the holidaymakers in the town!
