bottom line: get to see as much as you can. On tresco its worth seeing pipers hole (north of island), gardens(obviously), beaches. there are loads of them all over the island. mostley, get up high and enjoy the views!

beautiful food, excellent views, atmosphere? but then again does a good restaurant need atmosphere? or does it need a bit of a stiff upper lip to be proper and get in the books.

The best way to reach Tresco is on a helicopter direct from Penzance - thus avoiding the main island, St Mary's. The twenty minute flight takes you along the the south-west tip of Britain and out over the Atlantic before touching down on Scilly's second-largest island.
A tad pricey, but an experience in itself - and well worth it for the views.
