A quaint village pub near to where some friends work was the ideal meeting place recently to enjoy a couple of hours over a drink and a meal. The restaurant/pub is large and is on a fairly busy road but once inside the pub you do not feel that at all.
The place was quite busy but the service was excellent and in true northern style the service was with a smile.
It was great to meet with girls that I had spoken to on the phone for years. Thank you for a lovely time girls!
Favorite Dish: I had the Chicken Caesar salad and a large glass of white wine as it was lunchtime. Portions were large and the food excellent. My friends had the lasagne, Tagliatelle and the steak sandwich. All were very good!
