Need to send a message home and let your friends and family know that you're alive? Why not sit down with some coffee and a sandwich and enjoy yourself at the same time. This little cafe is always filled with people from all over the world. The Welsh owner is a friend of mine, and I guarantee that if you say hello, he'll be a friend of yours, too!
Favorite Dish: They brew a mean French press there! Good stuff!
We picked out Sutherlands as it looked like a quiet 'authentic' place to eat (shame i didn't get pics, coz it looks so cute), and there was an open fire which was appreciated in November :)
The restaurant is cozy, and the food was great. Home made and fresh, usually with locally sourced ingredients and the portion sizes were good. The prices was good as well, very cheap for the two courses and drinks we had.
The best thing about the restaurant was the service. They were so friendly we can't wait to go back next time we are there. I would definitley recommend it.
Favorite Dish: Can't pick a favourite, it was all great. Fresh and home made and tasty :) The deserts were very good :)
A small but friendly cafe/bistro, serving homemade breakfasts and lunches. Everything on the menu is marked if there is a gluten free option.
It opens from 8am-3pm every day, and Friday & Saturday it is open for evening meals as well.
Their website has their menu and further information on it.
They advise booking for the evening meals, but during the day just call in.
Favorite Dish: I went for the first time this week for a light lunch - I had a carrot and sweet potato soup, with gluten free bread, and toblerone cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was huge, but very delicious! I will definitely be going back.
Okay, I didn't actually eat here....I just thought it was a funny reminder about what would happen if you didn't pay your tab.
