    Native American performance

Favorite thing: I like cities where there are random performances going on in the streets, be it fire-eaters, jugglers, mime-artists or whatever.
In Derby's pedestrianised shopping district, I stumbled across a performance by a couple of Native American Indians! I was definitely not expecting this and they drew quite a crowd. Their traditional musical performance was really good and they were even accompanied by an animal skull! Check out the pictures! :D

    Kedleston Hall

Favorite thing: Kedleston Hall is a classical Palladian mansion built for the Curzon family between 1759 and 1765. It has one of the best examples of Robert Adams interiors in England which has seen very little alteration since its completion.

Fondest memory: Kedleston Hall is only 6 miles or so from Derby city centre, but is a world away and a great place to unwind.
