Chatsworth: Summer Nights Concerts

A great place to spend a summers evening, (especially if the weather is kind!) listening to live music, either classical or popular, enjoying a picnic, and with Chatsworth Hall as a backdrop!2006 Events include 17th June London Gala Orchestra - a night of music and Fireworks7th July Jools Holland8th July Pavarotti9th July WestlifeI treated my parents last year to the Aled Jones concert. We arrived quite early (my mum had recently broken her hip and was in a wheelchair, so we were parked in the disabled car park) and found a spot at the front. People started to arrive, with an array of picnic stuff- some in full evening dress with picnic tables set up with candlearbras, lanterns, champagne in ice buckets etc!To be continued... For the Classical concerts, there is a mix - some in evening dress, others in fleeces and wellies!Summer in Derbyshire can offer anything from Hot sun to...
