Exeter is full of shops, shopping streets and shopping centers. It seems that people also come from the surrounding towns for a big shopping spree. You can find it all. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Exeter is a great city for shopping, the best in Devon I feel. With there being a large university here there is the full range of chain stores, plus individual more unique clothes shops, one in particular I enjoy browsing around (& buying in) is called "The Real Mcoy" which has quite funky unusual clothes. I can pretty much guarantee you can pick up what ever you would want here. Leave a Comment Theme: Women's ClothesAddress: Exeter City Centre

I just love this shop, I always pop in, maps galore, a fantastic selection of Lonely Planets, Olde Worlde globes, nice pens & stationary, much of the merchandise reminds me of the style of a gentlemans study. As you can see in the photo, the shop in in a wonderful Tudor building , built in 1596 over the lower two floors.
On my last visit I bought a really nice stationary set, cream paper & envelopes with a nice elephant print on. Not especially cheap, but unusual. Leave a Comment Theme: BooksAddress: thedral Square, opposie the cathedral, you cant

Gandy Street still has a medieval look with its cobbled road - has a great assortment of smaller shops and some good cafes/wine bars to grab some lunch. Take the alley beside Top Shop in the High Street; this leads to Gandy Street. Clayhanger has lots of quirky nick-nacks if you're present hunting. Theme: Gifts
