Don't Forget Where You Left Your Bicycle ;)

by johngayton

This isn't really a "Packing List" tip at all but more of a "Warning and Danger". Ach, where to put it??? If you want to cycle around Devon make sure you are prepared for all weathers and be prepared for some serious hills - water is always good but planning your journey between pubs is even better ;) Devon is a very rural area but every village, no matter how small, has its church. Comfortable footwear

by DellyM

Anything which carries your items really. I'd also recommend a small back-pack to keep essentials (water, raincoat etc.) in if you go walking for the day. Comfortable footwear is a must if you're into walking. I took a pair of walking boots, but ended up wearing my trainers because they are simply the most comfy things for my feet! Take any prescription medication with you, but every other toiletry can be bought at the shops in Lynton so no need to panick if you forget anything that can be bought over the counter. A camera is a must. We took our stills camera and video camera, plus film. It's worth packing a waterproof coat and a warm hat. It can get quite windy on the coastal path, so a hat can come in quite handy.
