This isn't really a "Packing List" tip at all but more of a "Warning and Danger". Ach, where to put it??? If you want to cycle around Devon make sure you are prepared for all weathers and be prepared for some serious hills - water is always good but planning your journey between pubs is even better ;) Devon is a very rural area but every village, no matter how small, has its church. Some churches, such as Widdecombe's, are grand and imposing: others, slightly less so but all have their tales to tell.So here I was in the grounds of a local church one morning (a church which will remain anonymous for reasons which will become clear) looking at the gravestones.
