The Market Square Brasserie is a great new addition to Braintree, the old pub (Nags Head) has been transformed into an elegant restaurant. Not really knowing what to expect it was a great suprise, the food and service was excellent, I loved it all. The menu had so many delicious dishes I found it really hard to decide, in the end I had asparagus, then Lamb, with a creme brulee for dessert. We were served a lovely bottle of wine and superb Irish coffees to fininsh, we were so well looked after we left feeling very content and had a thoroughly enjoyable night out. There was no rush and the staff seemed to take pleasure in there job.
I have only praise for this restaurant and will definately be returning again and again.

Favorite Dish: The Lamb was beautiful, cooked to perfection. My friend had chicken with roquefort which smelt delicious and I am told was "amazing".
