Whilst the furnishing and decor in this quirky wine bar/coffee bar is different and unusual it felt relaxing and comfortable. We stopped off here for a coffee in the afternoon. There was a selection of sandwiches, snacks and cakes also available with a good choice of fillings.
The lady who served us made us feel like we were visiting old friends, we were left to relax and enjoy our drinks whilst listening to the pleasant background music and read the papers.
The prices were reasonable making this a worthwhile stop. I would recommend to locals, passers by and anyone visiting for the day like us.
Favorite Dish: We just had latte.
This small cafe/wine bar/shop has an identity crisis, but if one of the window seats are free I would say it is a pleasant place to stop. Here you can get panini's, cakes, ice-creams, tea, coffee... or something stronger.
In addition, the window area and much of the floor (and piano) is crammed with cakes, jams, chutneys, crisps as well as a selection of colourful cups and mugs for sale!
The ice cream in particular caught my eye - fancy 'Elderflower & Lime', 'Cherry & Kirsh', 'Stem Ginger' or 'Double Fudge' ...sluuuuurrp :-p
No children allowed though, so I assume the ice-cream is a special adult recipe!!
