The Thames, London
The Thames Path goes from the Flood barrier all the way to Windsor Castle, it is a great way of seeing bits of London you wouldnt otherwise do.
Favorite thing: There has been a lot of commotion about the Millennium bridge. During our visit there were still reparing the bridge. This picture is taken from the balcony of Tate Modern.
Favorite thing: realise that a city on both sides of a river needs bridges to connect the opposing banks. In the travalogue you see all the London bridges over the river Thames.
Favorite thing: Take a boat trip on the Thames. It's a great way to see the city-- its history and its present day. You'll see many of the famous landmarks from the perspective of the water.
