    I flew with Buzz airlines to Stansted Airport. I loved the cute little aeroplane! :) (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines) The flight from Helsinki took 2,5 hours.

    Stansted Airport is located 30 miles northeast from London city centre. One-way ticket to Liverpool Street station with Stansted Express train costs £13 (return ticket £21) and it takes about 45 minutes.

  • Best (and cheap) way to get to London is either with EasyJet or RyanAir (check http://www.easyjet.com or http://www.ryanair.com for more info) Best way to get around London is the tube!! Buy yourself a Travelcard for a day or a week. The traffic above ground is just too much (therefor tooooo slow). Walking is fine as well.

    Very interesting are the Christmas prices of British Airways. Rather cheap, hotel included... and british hospitality in the airplane. What do you want more ??? Tube, Tube and again ... UNDERGROUND

  • Airplane is the best if you're coming from the states. We flew TWA non stop from St.Louis, MO..but TWA is being bought out soon... The Underground, Double Decker buses, or cab.

    London Heathrow Airport. Located 24km (15m) west of central London.Transfer between Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and Terminal 4 is free on the Heathrow Express train. Driving directions: Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are close together in the centre of Heathrow and can be reached via the following motorways: M4 Junction 4, M25 Junction 15, A4 (local road). Terminal 4 is on the south side of Heathrow and is reached via the following motorways: M4 Junction 3, M25 Junction 14, A30 (local road).Transport to the city: the frequent Heathrow Express (tel: 0845 600 1515; web site: http://www.heathrowexpress.co.uk) train service to London Paddington station takes 15-20 minutes. From Paddington: the Hotel Express coach (a fare is payable) takes visitors to hotels in the area. The airport is also on the Piccadilly underground line. Bus services include Airbus Heathrow shuttle (tel: 020 7222 1234; web site: http://www.airbus.co.uk) to Victoria or King's Cross rail stations (journey time: one hour) and the Railair bus to Feltham rail station in south-west London. London Gatwick is directly linked to the M23 motorway at junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road.The Gatwick Express train service to Victoria station takes 30 minutes. Alternative services by Thameslink take 40 minutes. Coaches by Speedlink to Heathrow airport, Flightline to London Victoria and National Express to destinations nationwide depart from the ground floor of the south Terminal. Chauffeur-driven cars are provided by Gatwick Airport Cars (tel: 01293 562 291) and Gatwick Goldline Cars (tel: 01293 568 468).
