We drove down to the southern east coast to cross over to Calais, France from Dover-the White Cliffs are truly amazing to watch and the seagulls were fun too-think it took about 2 hrs.

We took a stroll through St. James Park. It is beautiful. Has a large lake in the center with multiple types of birds.

    West Hampstead
Christmas in West Hampstead - London

West Hampstead is deceiving, it clings on to Hampstead due to it geographical location, but where Kilburn ends and West Hampstead begins is a mystery to most. There's definitely a different crowd in West Hampstead to that of the posh heath.

West Hampstead is filled with bars, restaurants, bakeries and the odd boutique. You'll be able to have a reasonably good night out in West Hampstead, it won't be a mad one, but respectable enough to be able to talk about in the office the next day.

When in London, try not to do the stupid tourist things.
You can find colors, wind, peace in a place like this, in the very heart of a crowded town.
