The only VT theme close to this restaurant category is "Indian", but in fact it is a Bangladeshi restaurant, as are most of the other restaurants in Brick Lane. (For those that don't know, Brick Lane is a road east of the City that is frequently called "Little India". It is mostly restaurants from one end to the other and it has a very Asian atmosphere, complete with touts bribing you into their restaurants with ever increasing discounts and offers. It's well worth a visit to the neighbourhood.)
The décor, atmosphere, service, and pricing is pretty much the same as other restaurants on this street - all good. The seating is also cramped as it is at the other places. The difference here is the excellent food, pure and simple. I have never tasted so many different excellent flavours of curry dishes as I have here.
We will definitely be returning here many times.
Brick Lane Area is a place where you can find many many restaurant from India & Bangladesh. Also there's some Super Markets which has any Indian food / spice / bread etc'...
The area around it became quite popular for living in the last few years and quite trendy.
Also there's some Jacl the Ripper stories that connected to some places near this area.
I visit the Whitechapel area of London often, and I like to visit the Brick Lane Brasserie .
Favorite Dish:
Anything here is good, they have excellent naan bread and curries.
