    Brioche: Great Brunch

    by kit_mc Written Mar 2, 2008

This place is very popular with the north west Sunday brunching crowd and for good reason. Various breakfast related foods are served at around the 5 to 6 pound mark. You can sit here and read your massive Sunday newspaper at leisure.

I also took a look at their lunch menu which is of Italian and French persuasion and very decently priced.

Popular with locals, they servce Sunday brunch right the way through to 4pm. You can even get a Bloody Mary here in case your Saturday night involved a little too much fun!

Favorite Dish: The Brioche Royale sounded nice, smoked salmon and poached eggs but I went for the fried eggs and bacon on hash browns. The hash browns were what most Brits would call bubble and squeak and they were lovely.

Fried eggs over melted cheese and ham on thick toast was also mouthwatering. As well as your usual coffee they have a selection of teas for you to pour from your own pot as you wish. I also felt like oushing the boat out and had a freshly made banana milkshake.
