My friend and I were planning to have lunch at La Tasca the Spanish restaurant but it was full. So we ended up in this cafe. Since i LUV the french crepe, i absolutely loved the food. the prices are quite good for having quick brunch, ranging £10-15 per person.
it was a bit crammed though, with a small seating area inside the cafe and a relatively spacious terrace where we sat. i pretty much enjoyed the location, in a lively surrounding off Oxford street.
The only thing i didn't like was the customer service. Some of the staff were not quite polite with us. i undertand it was busy but a waiteress was a bit rude, rushing us to make orders, 'your order is already too big. it's enough'!The other one looked burdened but she handled our picky orders quite well, lol
i would give the food 5 stars but the customer service 3. however, i did love the food and atsompshere regardless.
Favorite Dish: i had spinach, cheese and ratatoille crepe, chips. my favourite is always chocolate for sweet and something veggie for salty crepes. i've tried the banana one but didn't like it much.
One of the only places to dine outside whilst still being able to be in shopping distance of selfridges. Cafe Creperie never fails to dissappoint... that is as long as you can get a space to sit down. This restaurant is always busy but always good. The staff and friendly and fast, the area is great if you're a socialite as barrett street is well known for being busy with lots of people there taking a break from their shopping or to be seen.
The food itself when it comes doesn't look like too much, everyone says the same thing... maybe i should have bought two of these... half way through though you realise that the crepe is more than you can eat but its so good you have to keep going
Favorite Dish: Tuna Melt is always good :)
