I have not had a bad meal at any of the Cafe Rouge's I've been to. I love French cooking, and believe I would enjoy everything on the menu. However, we are usually in a hurry (to see a play), so our selection has been limited. For Hors D'oevres, we enjoy having either their Onion Soup (Soupe à l'Oignon) or Escargot. If we're in a hurry, we have one of their Plats Rapides like their 5 oz Minute steak. If we have a little more time we order their Entrecote Rouge from Les Grillades. I have also enjoyed their Moules (Classic Café Rouge mussels that have their own listing on the menu now).
Though I haven't been to them all, I would recommend any one of their locations to those who like French cooking. They also offer a Prix Fixe menu for both lunch and dinner with dinner priced at £10.50.
Favorite Dish:
Hard to pick just one favorite, but right now I'd have to say the Escargot. They have just the right amount of seasoning and butter, and the snails are very tender.
