Let's face it, London is not renowned for its great coffee. But that looks set to change with the opening of a little café called Flat White Espresso Bar. A flat white is a style of coffee popular in Australia and New Zealand and you can now sample a perfect example deep in the heart of London's West End, just up from the little Berwick Street Market.
Having read about this café I was very keen to check it out, so dragged Alex along one day to see if it was as good as I had heard - we were not disappointed!
Flat White is just a small, unpretentious place. The owners are very friendly and the place is busy serving up its creamy coffee.
Favorite Dish: This café serves up not only beautiful looking and tasting coffee, but also has a range of freshly made sandwiches and enough tempting treats to keep everyone happy, including home-made Anzac biscuits, and colourfully iced cup cakes.
We had delcious flat whites - the best coffee I have had in a long time.
If you can find a better coffee in London I'd like to hear about it!
