Pizza Express, Dean Street, London

A Jazz @ Pizza Express you will not only get a good pizza, some nights per week you can also listen to live Jazz.

Some days after I visited some Swedish artists would perform, the well known Nisse Landgren and Victoria Tolstoy.

Favorite Dish: "Soho Pizza"

Pizza Express is an upscale, gourmet pizza chain. I've been to 3-4 different locations in London and the food is consistent. The Dean Street location is great, and offers a Jazz Club downstairs. The atmosphere is upbeat and trendy. The pizzas are thin crust and there is quite a variety. One note- the only beer they serve is Peroni!

Favorite Dish: Cajun Pizza- CAJUN prawns, red peppers, onions, tabasco pepper sauce, mozzarella, tomato

I put Tabasco on everything. So a pizza with built in Tabasco is my kind of pizza!

Another favorite of mine is the MOZZARELLA & TOMATO SALAD which consists of
slices of buffalo mozzarella and tomato with sun dried tomato.

For dessert? Pear Tart!

I don't know if it was the best pizza in the city but it was the cheapest one I had for sure (free actually). I was almost every day in 'Pizza Express' restaurant run by my brother. Pizza was great.
Dining area - sort of family atmosphere, jazz club - nice and expensive.

This branch of Pizza Express has live jazz too...with both UK and overseas artists playing live every night...best to book in advance.
