After a colleague and I had finished a business meeting in the "City of London" - we decided to go for lunch. After a short discussion about what we both wouyld like for lunch, we more or less strolled across the street to the Leadenhall Ristorante Italiano.
It was not much from the outside, as you can see - however the Italian staff were friendly and professional, the menu was good and the food itself was excellent.
It was interesting to note that they have a front and a back entrance - which is perhaps not that obvious to many people. Where we were sitting was near the rear entrance and the customers who entered that way all looked confused about where they had arrived in the restaurant and the staff interestingly making sure they knew they had not come into the facilities the correct way.
We had an excellent time!
Favorite Dish: As ever, one visit does not make me an expert in the menu here; however, the veal is excellent and the desserts are all wonderful. They also have a daily special, which looked fabulous.
