There are 200 shops in the Canary Wharf shopping centre - no Argos or Claire's Accessories and in the eating places no McDonalds - this is generally high class shopping in bright and modern arcade walkways. Easy to find your way around in the various malls and so much choice for eating and drinking too. Fully disabled friendly.
The shops appeared to be not so busy even within 2 weeks before Christmas - moderately full but not heaving with people as Oxford Street was later in the day. Therefore if you want 200 good class shops here - most are expensive - and no crowds then this is the place to be. Only 20 minutes on the Jubilee Line from Central London the centre is in zone 2.
The website is the best website I have ever seen for a shopping centre.
