    If you are looking to dress in the latest fashions hit the High Street! Most boroughs in London have a high street (main road) filled with shops selling reasonably priced fashionable clothing and accessories. The biggest high street of them all is Oxford Street in London's West End.

    Oxford Street is said to be the busiest street in Europe. The shopping strip runs for a mile & a half, and is particularly hectic on a Saturday afternoon.

    Oxford Street is home to the huge Top Shop flagship store, frequented by lots of celebrities - so shop here and do some star spotting at the same time! You can also browse in other large chain stores such as GAP, Zara and H&M.

    There are several large department stores to check out. My favourite is the stunning Selfridges, with its designer clothes and gourmet food hall.

    Hidden just off Oxford Street, close to Selfridges, is the lovely St Christopher's Place. Home to several cafes, it is the perfect spot for a mid-shop break.

    Every one know that UK is very expensive so when you want to shopping you will find the clothes is high price but
    there is some shops sell good quality clothe but in cheap price like Primark shops , it,s very
    good for all family , i buy from it 40 item one time so take my advise think it deserve visit

  • I've found my favourite sweedish 'H&M' shop. I like it's fashion, clothes and colours. And the prices aren't very high there. On the sales you can buy lots of good things for very low price. Enjoy:-)

    For e.g., the price of T-shirt varies from 4 to 6 pounds, a nice suite around 50 - 60 pounds, jeans about 30 pounds, etc.

    Not a shop, but a whole street of clothes shops for both genders.

    Once upon a time, Carnaby Street used to be really fashionable (during the 1960's). It then seemed to hit a slump and went very down market.

    These days it seems to be picking up again, but it primarily seems to be targetting tourists. It has plenty of Quiksilver, Ben Sherman and FCUK clothes in the many boutiques that line the street. The street has never quite regained its original iconographic status though...

    Months ago I had received a gift from a friend who had recently returned from Hong Kong. The gift was an exquisite silk robe from the SHANGHAI TANG shop there.

    It was the finest quality of silk I had ever felt up against the skin. After doing much research on the shop, I found out they had various locations outside of Hong Kong. One of them being London.

    When you enter the shop on Sloane St., you are whisked away to another time and city. The London boutique opened in April 2002 and has something for everyone.....men, women, and children.

    There is a definite oriental mystique in the shop. Shanghai Tang is known for its esoteric products and distinctive packaging. They blend traditional Chinese culture with the styles of the 21st Century – a vibrant fusion of ‘East Meets West.’

    How appropriate! ;-)

    No visit to London would be complete without shopping in one of the world's most fashionable cities. London offers such an enormous spectrum of shops and markets that it's bound to have what you're looking for. Now its just a matter of finding it.

    Linking Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street, the elegant curve of Regent Street represents one of London's loveliest shopping areas. Recognised worldwide as London's busiest high street and the heart of the West End shopping, Oxford Street is home to over 300 retail outlets and a major concentration of department stores.

    you never know how much can you expect to spend. But you have to be ready to keep you card always busy

    We stumbled into Carnaby Street while walking some of London's famous streets. This street was once famous in Swinging London's 1960's but now it is just one more shopping street. I suppose it may still be interesting to the young & glamerous amongst us, but for me it was just a short cut to London's other famous shopping street, Oxford Street with the usual High Street Outlets who's names are repeated in every city & town in Britain.

  • It is a huge shop, it has five floors of women's and men's clothes. It is usually very crowded. They have a great selection of accesories, especially belts, jewlery and bags.

    Anything - from hat to shoes.

    Very resonable prices

    Sourbugger is a man of a certain age, and therefore feels no compunction to dress up in a day-glo PVC suit witha flashing number on it advertising his IQ.

    On the other hand he is quite content to wander around the Cyberdog shop to see what the 'pretty young things' of London see as cutting edge in Clubwear.

    This shop, buried in the heart of Camden Market sells all manner of 'party gear' and I don't mean Jelly and Ice-cream.

    The shop itself retains much of the original Victorian Brickwork arches, into which as been aded various space-station mock ups, robots, a coffee bar, some very stange electronic installation and shop assistants who go by the description of "Nice people, Wrong Planet".

    Still, if your after the ultimate "Bling-Bling" clothes to set your local dancefloor alight, then this is the place.

    The stock changes all the time : but if it's in It's here.

    Quite pricey in comparison to more mainstream places
