In camden market and high street you can buy just about any fastion that you might desire, from Gothic to funky clubbing, so is alway worth having a wander round.
Gothic, hippy clothing always good, also leather jackets and boots.
Like most markets dont pay the ticket price, always try and haggle the traders down, if they wont budge have a look around before buying as you will always find things cheaper Leave a Comment Theme: Men's ClothesAddress: CamdenDirections: Out of Camden underground station turn right and the market is on the left. All the leather shops are on this road and continue right up to the lock.

The huge Camden Markets are a free form chaos. They get so crowded on the weekends that you will think that you are in The Third World. The markets include: The Camden Canal Market where you will find bric-a-brac, furniture and designer clothes. TheCamden Market you will find leather good and army surplus gear. The Electric Market you will find records and 1960's clothing.
Bargain in all of these markets Theme: BooksDirections: Camden and Chaulk Farm tube stations

it's just a place worth to see if not to shop. very colourful, very different, loads of stuff from the Middle East and the Far East. I always shop there. Many unique things
colourful beddings and other materials, souvenirs, clothes
try and bargain. sometimes it works. also depends on a shopper, probably about £100-£200

Covent Garden is a little touristy, but it is very nice to have a wander around to take in the sights and sounds. I may be a bit partial because this is the first place I came to in London (fresh off the tube from Heathrow, with my baggage making lots of noise rolling on the cobblestones--what a horrible tourist I was!). But the Royal Opera House is here and the London Transport Museum, and in the summer they have all kinds of things going on in the piazza. Great for people-watching. And if you're here just before Christmas, it is a good place to do your shopping.
My favorite shops are here (chain shops)--Lush (for handmade bath goodies) and Monsoon clothes store (for pretty, bright, soft fabrics and colors). I don't spend much time with the vendors because they can get expensive, but I did buy a light waterproof jacket there once for fairly cheap.
Depends on how much of a shopaholic you are! Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Covent Garden tube stopDirections: Covent Garden is easily walkable from Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, the Strand, or the British Museum. Or just take a right out of the tube stop.

Camden Market is a very popular venue offering clothing, jewellery, music and much more, seemingly targeting a more youthful audience, or even just the young at heart. You can pick up very fashionable items at uber cheap prices, and much fun can be had bartering with the stall owners. I usually manage to get a price on the already cheap band t-shirts by buying in bulk and striking up a deal with the retailer. You won't find too much brand name or high life fashion here, just funky clothes and accessories at even funkier prices! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

London is a great city for markets, the attached website lists 20 that are within easy reach of Central London. We've been to a lot of these markets, some of which I've already listed on separate tips. Portobello Road is a bit on the touristy side but we always make a stop here if we are in London on a Saturday, the best day to go. You can find a little of everything here, food, antiques, souvenirs, junk, clothing Covent Garden's Jubilee market is the most touristy of the markets, souvenirs and clothing mostly. The covered market has antiques or arts and crafts Camden Lock and Stables Market always seems more hip and more local than Portobello, a little bit of everything, best time to go is on the weekends, during the week lots of it is closed Borough Market, gourmet food market, open Thurs-Sat Church Street Market, very local, mostly fruits and veggies and household goods, cheap clothing Bermondsey Market is the antique market for serious antiquers, get there early for the best deals The East End Markets are all open on Sunday, Petticoat Lane for clothes, Brick Lane for a variety of goods and Indian food, Old Spitalfields Market has shops, restaurants and a market with varying goods throughout the week Leave a Comment

Virtually Everything is on Sale at "Camden Market", it also has a feeling of being hip and young, as the market goes with the ages. Its a great place for everyone to go and purchase.......anything!!. Also another market is the Portobello Road Market, its a bit more expensive, but here you can find fruit and vegs, antiques and collectables. WORTH A VISIT ASWELL!!!
Whatever you want
Prices Vary, and this is a market, so it wouldnt be very expensive. Since this is a market dont forget to haggle!. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Nearest Underground/Tube Station to "CAMDEN MARKET" is - Camden Town or Chalk Farm. Petticoat Lane is East London's celebrated Sunday morning market. Overrateted, overpriced and appeals to those not thinking straight after Saturday night at the pub. Broken chocolate bars, ugly trinkets and cut prices on cleaners. Good if you have a lot of time in London.
Nothing for anything Theme: OtherDirections: East London
