Yeah!!! That's the word. Not overcrowded, no, INFESTED. Infested of plenty of tourists looking at old dead mummies, pieces of what once a simple dish where someone anybody knows used to eat, old rocks, no sort of simple map (you can get lost, lol, I exagerate) and of course the famous Rosetta! Which, if you want to take a little glimpse of it, you better be 2 meters high by two meters wide and be rude enough to move all of those flashy tourists. By the way?? What's the use of making photos of old things guarded behind a glass, which probably shouldn't even be there?? But at there place of origin!! Those would be two discussions we could take long hours talking about and get to no conclusion. Oh yeah, I did extract something positive about the Brittish Museum. It's free! Barcelona museums, please learn about it!!!! Leave a Comment Phone: 0 20 7323 8299Directions: Holborn tubeWebsite: http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk

 | | | | British Museum: Running Throughout the British Museum | | | | | |
Yes, running! 'cause there ain't no time to visit it all at once, and a once is all that I had in hand, at the time... Boy! Once you're inside, the first biggy is to decide which way to go from that wonderful inner courtyard. And that's after choosing THE guide book to get, if not a guide. So this being settled...I opted for the biggining, in other words, Ancient Egypt and the rest of Antiquity. I did'nt get the time to see it all, but what I saw amazed me! It really shows that Great Britain was extremelly powerful in the 19th century, when a lot of these where unearthed, because I've never seen the likes of the pieces that were there, before my very eyes! Of course, I had to see other parts, so I went for the Celtic experience. Very short, but interesting. It was in amongst European history, so I went through it as well, and discovered some beautiful works of art...as well as a big collection of clocks and every type of mechanisms they tried to build them with. My big disapointment is that I spent so much time in the book shop, that I missed the South, Middle and North American continants, and I so wanted to see the Aztec, Mayan, and Inca art. But I did get to buy some great books! And you can buy them online on their website as well, which is great! Phone: 0 20 7323 8299Directions: Holborn tubeWebsite: http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk
