You should go and check out the world's largest modern art gallery at Bankside-its the Tate Modern which saw a mothballed power station converted into a fine gallery at a cost of 134 million pounds
Wonderful collection of modern art ranging from Picasso,Dali,Matisse,Giacommeti to Andy Warhol

    VISITING THE TATE MODERN COLLECTION
Great exhibit, great venue. Old powerhouse on the south bank of the Thames made into modern art container. From the great windows you get a sight of the Millennium Bridge and St. Paul's. Worth a visit is also the Bookshop.

Known as one of the premier museums of Modern Art, the Tate is housed in an old power plant. Its collection of art is pretty spectacular.

If you like modern art...Picasso, Hockney, Hurst etc...this is the place to go. Once a power station...now it showcases the weird and the wonderful!

The Tate Modern gallery on the edge of the Thames is a storehouse of 'Modern' art. So although there are many paintings and sculptures there in its many corridors, they all have 'an edge.'

A modern museum, free entrance and a beautiful view from the upper floor at St. Pauls Cathedral.

The interior has an interesting architecture, as you can see on the picture.

London is the power house and driving force of contemporary art in Europe if not the world and there is no better place to see it all represented than here. No excusses as the entrance fee is free.

The Tate modern is definitely worth seing for its architecture and the way it embraces the art displayed there. The view from the top floor is also a must!

The national museum of modern art is housed in the former Bankside Power Station. The collection of international modern art from 1900 to the present day is exceptional as the building itself.
