One of the most famous landmark of London.

The rich history and its splendid architecture makes it a must see for those who visit London.

Sometimes it feels great to stand still, and watch the fine decorations of this magnificent Westminster Abbey building.

Note the wonderful decorations on the many little towers.

This beautiful medieval church was consecrated on December 28th 1065. It is the crowning and burial site of monarchs, it is the resting place for statesmen, warriors, scientists, musicians and poets!

This beautiful church is the tallest Gothic building in the British isles. Built around the 11th century.

Visiting this cathedral as a tourist is great, but attending the sunday service shows another face of this important place of worship and history.

Westminster Abbey, the rear view. The top of Big Ben is also there to see. The statue here is (I think) Oliver Cromwell's. If I'm wrong about this, pls send me a note! :-)

A beautiful London place of worship probably only out classed by St. Pauls' Cathedral. The website has some good views of the inside.

WESTMINSTER ABBEY. The place for royal coronation. William the Conqueror was the first to be crowned here in 1066 and every monarch since him except Edward V and Edward VIII was crowned in the Abbey.

This is the place where many of Britain's great personalities are buried (including Sir Winston Churchill - the greatest politician of all times in my opinion). Note that it is a World Heritage site.
