Careful if approached by adults wearing school uniform. They belong to a secret mystical cult, the members drinking a strange heady potent liquid which induces odd behaviour. They will attack you with rulers and exercise books if you try to engage them in conversation. The best advice is to avoid and cross the street. They often smell of unclean things. Creepy. A tunnel that goes under the Thames from Greenwich to the other side. It was built back in the 1800's. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Everyone in England walks. Get use to the foot pain, get use to the standing. This might take a while to get use to. Try to take breaks and sit as much as you can. When walking always be sure to bring a backpack/purse that has water and a snack in it. Sometimes all that walking makes you hungy and thirsty. But when carying your back pack be weary of pit pockets and keep your backpack/purse at the front of you. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherPhone: n/aWebsite: n/a Other Contact: n/a

Greater London is very large area, there is no way you can walk everywhere, so just use the public transport and hope in and out for a nice walk where you want to visit, it is very easy as long as it is not raining ;-) Leave a Comment Theme: Other

London is a huge city but it is very pleasant to walk in. When you have only 1 or 2 tube stops or it isn't worth taking a cab or bus, walking is a nice way to get to your destination. There are plenty of things to see along the way. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

London is a very nice place to walk around, with all the parks and animations in the streets. And walking gives you a real insight into the structure of the city itself. On my first backpacking trip arounf London, I travelled everyday by tube, and in the end I couldn't say where everything was precisely (but I knew the plan by heart). Walking is nice, healthy and inexpensive. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

The best way to discover London is to walk! You can follow the river or head for the heart of the city and lose yourself in it's magic. You can stumble across little walkways and discover part of London even Londoners haven't found yet. Leave a Comment
