I was wise enought to pack an umbrella, but of course i forgot it when it started raining. If you don't feel like lugging one around town with you, be prepared to fork out 10 pounds or so for one at eh last minute when the rain starts coming down (and it will).
Even if you are coming mid summer - it's a wise thing to bring an umbrella with you - just in case. I've been caught out a few times and now I always make sure I have one on me where ever I go. This is more to do with staying here for the winter months... Buy some Happy Nose. Happy Nose is a gel you cover your nose with, epecially if you have a bad cold or flu and your nose is red raw with sneezing!
