I have tried several curry places in Brick Lane & nothing measures up to Tooting standards & prices
Jaffna House, Lahore Karahi, Sakonis, Rada Krishna Bhavan, Kastoori

Travelling on a budget can be a pretty intimidating experience in a city like London. But there are ways to deal with it. All around the place you will see "Boots Chemist" shops. These shops have a good lunch deal, less than 5 pounds for a drink, a chocolate bar and a sandwich. Look around, because sometimes you can in fact find double sandwiches included in the deal! Some of the fillings are a bit strange, but on the whole they are not bad at all. This pub is well known for its high standard of pool players so word of advise don't hustle on the pool table unless you are really good!!
The drinks are well priced with large outdoor seating area.
I have not been as yet but there is a theatre attached to the pub which is a nice addition.
The food is reasonably priced pub standard meals with good chips.

you have to eat indian food after a night of drinking. nothing we have ever eaten compares to "the best hangover cure" as a late night balti. the next day results are, nothing short of scary, never smelt anything like it.

The restaurant is a perfect combination of fresh seafood, specialy crabs and lobster with excelent meat either smoked or grilled. Margaritas and beer from the bar and a good wine selection offers the perfect complement to the meal. Very easy going ambiance, with friendly service and live music.
From the sea, the whole crab and the lobster are superb. To me, the best crab in London.
