The Reebok Stadium is a nice compact and symetrical stadium with a hotel built into one of the stands.
The Stadium is purpose built and is surrounded by a massive shopping and entertainment complex, which sells almost anything you want from clothes, sportswear, crafts, food to furniture. There are also a couple of bars, cinema and bowling alley there along with Kentucky Fried Chicken and a McDonalds.

A word of warning though, if you are an away fan and park in the away fans car park it could take ages to get out, the Police don`t exactly give priority to you. The car park costs £5 and is just a few feet from the turnstiles.

Equipment: To watch the match the only equipment you really need is a good strong voice to sing your club`s songs and encourage the team and your eyes to actually watch the game, some people do take a pair of binoculars if they sit far from the pitch.
Apart from the above the club s encourage you to buy their merchandise to enhance your matchday experience, you can buy virtually anything from hats and scarfs to the full blown replica kit, which generally is updated annually.

Quad bikes for the kids

During the summer months, some of the parks in the area, have weekenders, which is like a small fair that is just put on for the weekend. This is a picture taken at Moss Bank Park where they set up this small area designated just for the children to ride the quad bikes.

The Bar - Best Part Of The Gym!

There's a lot of Gyms in and around Bolton - including a branch of our Gym "David Lloyds". We like to visit other branches while we're away so we visited this one on the Sunday afternoon. It was almost empty for some reason, which was really nice - ours is often uncomfortably full.
These gyms have everything - tennis, badminton, weights, aerobic machines, swimming (indoor and out), sauna, bar & restaurant. A daytrip in its own right! lol

Equipment: Shorts, T-shirt, Trainers, Swimwear.

Reebok Stadium

Football - soccer to our American friends. Bolton are currently in the top flight (the Premier League) and I hope they can stay there. The setup at their stadium ("The Reebok Stadium") is great - not only is it a good looking stadium, but it has a shopping park right on its doorstep - something for the good lady to do while us lads are at the match!
There's even a hotel built into the stadium (see seperate tip).

Equipment: None!
