    Located in the heart of the city, Manchester's Arndale Centre in many ways dominates the central shopping area of the City. Begun in 1972, by its completion in 1979 it was the largest covered town shopping centre in Europe, covering some 30 acres in the old city centre, with 750,000 shoppers visiting it each week. With over 200 shops, major department stores, restaurants an fast food outlets it has become a busy and active shopping arcade.

    Manchester's Arndale mall is located in the town's center. The mall's build begun in 1972, and was - by its completion in 1979 - the largest covered town shopping mall in the EU with over 200 shops, stores, restaurants and fast food places. However, Manchester's Arndale Shopping Centre reminded me very much of Atlanta's Lennox Square.

    We did less of shopping there but a slow stroll along the stores, and eventually enjoyed some jazz played live by a local band right on the mall's ground floor! That was exciting. Then there's a store for repairing wrist-watches in less than 1-2 hrs (if the issues are not that complicated I guess). This is what I did I left my watch there and got it repaired in less than one hour for a few bucks only. And of course I also did the Body Shop!!
