it depends on what way you look at the trafford centre it could be either heaven or hell depending on your thoughts about shopping!
All the high street stores can be found here - shame that there are no independents which is what this country lacks.
It is easy to naviagate as is just one long strip with an upper and lower level so not too difficult - there are plenty of maps along the way and if you get lost just ask!
Food hall here is pretty good but be warned on SAturday afternoons this place is Carnage! - I love shopping but avoid at ALL costs!!!!!!
Manchester has a wonderful mall called the Trafford Centre. It is a beautiful mall, very tastefully decorated with many nice stores. Since I am used to the US dollar, everything seemed too expensive though for me, so I did not buy very much because it seemed too expensive..I saw lots of nice things though!! What was very unique about this mall that we do not have here in America is that there are different cuisine sections within the mall. For example, there is the Orient section, there is a New Orleans section, etc, etc.
The Trafford Centre is the place to shop. The place is huge. All kinds of shops, kids shops, sports shops, womens shops, mens shops and even an adult shop.
There is a food court here which designed to look like a cruise ship, which is quite cool. Here you can get McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut and many other cuisines.
There is also a 20 screen cinema on the top floor of the centre which shows all the latest films and costs 5 pounds 80 pence per film.
There is a kids play area aswel.
Trafford Center is one of the best shopping attractions in Great Britain. There is also more shopping in City Centre that is worth checking out. Market Street holds many shops that can be found at Trafford Centre. However, just north of market street is an area that has shops that have more alternative clothing. I highly recommend!
If there aren't enough shops in Manchester City Centre (believe me, there are) then you could try the Trafford Centre. It's a short drive away, or you can take the tram (get off at Stretford on the Altrincham line).
Look at the roof in the Trafford Centre.
It's painted almost as if by Michaelangelo! very lavish!
You have to go to the Trafford Center and take your time anything rushed is pointless especially shopping!
It has so many shops designer ones and everything all under the same roof! While I was at Hope Hospital looking out the window and in the far distance I could see The Trafford Center and it was all lit up as it was night. I wish that I has my camera there with me!
Trafford Centre is a nice radiant shopping centre for all you female shopaholics. Although it's a little pricey, it contains alot of nice eating areas, comfortable cinema with seats offering alot of leg room.
It has a large car park so usually you don't have to worry about finding a space to park.
Walk around....avoid the crowds....no really....wasnt too busy....the streets would part just for the pic....actualy seemed like people were out and about when we were there.
