Too sexy. Fat chairs (sometimes with tables), rarely overcrowded, mind-your-own-business people, smooth sailing - get over it. Metro is hands-down the way to travel to Manchester from anywhere you can catch it from.

If you arrive at Manchester airport, go to the bus terminal, bus no. 199 goes to Stockport main bus station. From there, other buses go to the different parts of Stockport. The bus from the airport to Stockport costs GBP 1,30, and the bus from there to Offerton for example costs GBP 1,15.
The whole journey takes about 40 minutes.

It doesn't go anywhere near Stockport unfortunetly. It was going to in 2000 when the government slashed all the funding so now it doesn't.
The rail staion has a platform for it I suspect platofrm 0 now used for trains. but the nearest metro stop is 10miles+ away in Altrincham.
So the question is can you remove the exisiting Metro post that suggests Metro is useful way to get there.

Clean, colorful, cozy - you can climb to the second floor (if you got one like that) and sit right in front for great photos and riding...
