This pub has virtually ceased to be a typical English pub and has now become a very high quality restaurant that serves real locally brewed beer, cider and apple juice. The chef specializes in food cooked with local produce.
We went for a special Christmas Eve meal inspired by the Salone Del Gusto 2002 in Turin this October. The chef, told me after the meal, that at breakfast time he hadn't decided what to cook for his quests. He looked at what he had in his larder !!! Our cost was about $41.45 (£25.00) per head.
